Luxa, On the corner of Tánger and Badajoz streets in Barcelona’s most important business complex in the innovation district, the 22@ Business Park just behind the Agbar Tower, the building is composed of 2 independent volumes that are organised around a new square located on the corner of Tánger and Badajoz streets, thus creating a sensation of spaciousness and enhancing the vision of the two buildings and their accesses. The silver building (9920m² surface area) and the gold building (6494m² surface area) are linked by a common plinth connecting the entrances to the separate lobbies. Both buildings share a 3-storey basement car park which occupies the entire plot and has spaces for bicycles, motorbikes and cars (245 spaces).

All the materials chosen are of high quality, giving the building a very high level of equipment and comfort, creating an atmosphere of modernity and achieving a high energy rating that allows us to obtain the leed GOLD seal.

CHARACTERISTICS

– The building is composed of 2 independent volumes that are organised around a new square located on the corner of Tánger and Badajoz streets, thus creating a sensation of spaciousness and enhancing the vision of the two buildings and their accesses.
– The silver building (9920m² surface area) and the gold building (6494m² surface area) are linked by a common plinth connecting the entrances to the separate lobbies.

– Both buildings have the same height (ground floor and 8 floors) with a height between floors of 3.84m which allows us to obtain an internal headroom on the office floor of 2.70m.
– The façades are resolved with a glazed skin that provides high solar protection through the silkscreen printing of vertical reflective strips that allow total visibility from inside the building.
